11And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error.
12And the love of [f]the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity,
13But he who endures to the end will be saved.
I love the comment posted by this person. I have the comment posted on here…
“I think you got it almost entirely wrong. What this phrase means is that people in general shouldn’t have to use their bodies to gain attention or approval. Men or women. And modesty doesn’t objectify women.
Modesty is not a way of hiding ones body out of shame, but rather a way to allow others to see that persons dignity instead of their body. Because when girls wear inappropriate and skimpy clothing, they are inviting men to look and their body and value them by that. They want attention.
(Some girls are like, no I just want to dress up for, me…. No you don’t, you want to be worshipped and adored. You want both men and women alike to stand in awe of you. And no matter how much you say no, God judges your motive, scripture was put there to guide us into light eternal. But when we Shawn it it’s because of our own private last. We were created in Gods’ image why is your face covered in make up?
Some of us had been religiously putting on make up because we had been told that when you are a girl of a certain age we had to use it to look better and besides everyone’s doing it.. We just never asked what was wrong with our normal face.
Who told you God didn’t do a good job with your face, body or even gender.. This generation has tagged God as a mistake maker..
